understanding OpenCape
Many people do not have the technical background to understand the different terms and technologies involved with OpenCape. It is sometimes better to use analogies to make the distiniction between OpenCape as a backhaul or transport network and Access Entities that will connect to OpenCape for transport to the Internet.
It may be easier to think of highways or water distribution as analogies. In the highway analogy OpenCape is Route 6. The Access Entities are the many feeder roads with on-ramps to Route 6.
In the water distribution analogy OpenCape is the water main in the street and the homes are the Access Entities with further distribution to the many faucets in the home.
